Livingston MP Hannah Bardell joined members of the Communication Workers Union in calling for fairer pay for postal workers.
Picket lines took place outside Royal Mail delivery and sorting offices around West Lothian last week after workers launched a 48 hour strike.
The industrial action comes ahead of a further walkout over the next two months in a dispute over pay and conditions.
Hannah Bardell said: “I was proud to join our posties in Livingston at their picket line last Friday morning, as their rights and conditions at work are under threat.
“We must support them and the vital service that they deliver.”
