One of Canberra's most popular events - the Handmade Market - returns for its first in-person market in more two years.
The markets will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday in the Budawang Pavilion at EPIC.
More than 220 of the best Australian designers and producers will be returning after a COVID-forced hiatus.
The last in-person market was in December 2019.
Handmade Managing Director Julie Nichols can't wait to welcome back customers to the market.
"We are just so excited to be back doing what we love," she said.
"Our Australian makers have done it tough over the last two years, and we just know that both our makers and our customers are going to be so excited for the market to be returning."
ACT Business Minister Tara Cheyne said the Handmade Market was "a local business success story".
"During last year's lockdown, Handmade created an online market - and their team of makers found new customers all over the world," Ms Cheyne said.
"This weekend Canberrans have a great opportunity to support local and regional makers at Handmade Market in person.
"A part of the ACT Government's economic response to the pandemic was to raise awareness for the benefits of buying local. By supporting one local business, your money goes back into the community, stimulating homegrown businesses, boosting our economy and supporting local jobs.
"We want Canberrans to choose local, to eat local, to shop local and to style local.
"The decision of Canberrans to prioritise spending money locally has the potential to help our city well beyond our COVID recovery, and getting along to the Handmade Market this weekend is just another way to help out."
Ms Nichols said entry to the market was free.
"However, we are encouraging visitors to provide a gold coin donation to local charity Givit," she said.
