Tributes have poured in for professional wrestler and Netflix reality show star Hana Kimura after she died at the age of 22.
It is not yet known how the young wrestler died.
Kimura was known for her appearances in the Netflix reality TV show Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020 and her performances with the Japanese wrestling promotion company, Stardom.
Stardom announced the news in a statement on Twitter on Friday, saying: "Stardom fans, we are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away.
"Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends.
"We appreciate your support during this difficult time."
Fans and wrestlers have paid tribute to the "wonderful" wrestler who was a second-generation star and daughter to wrestler Kyoko Kimura.
Wrestler Jamie Hayter said on Twitter: "Distraught. I don't even know what to say or feel. Numb.
"I can't express it. RIP Hana Kimura. I just can't even put in to f*****g words how upsetting this is. I hope you found peace."
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kimura suffered from cyberbulling after a recent episode of Terrance House.
A statement on Stardom's website reads: "Our company player Hana Kimura passed away today on May 23.
"We apologise for the sudden concern and sorrow for our fans and all concerned.
"Regarding the details, there are some parts that we have not yet grasped, so we will continue to cooperate with the investigation between the parties concerned."
Kimura had competed in sold out Madison Square Garden and Tokyo Dome events and also appeared for the Ring of Honour promotion.
