Hamzah Sheeraz Next Fight: Sheeraz Gets First World Title Shot

Undefeated British boxing star Hamzah Sheeraz embarks on his first world title shot in his next fight. Sheeraz could be the best middleweight in the world already, and winning a world title in his next fight could solidify him as the best 160-pound fighter on the planet.

Hamzah Sheeraz Next Fight: Unbeaten British Star Closes In On First World Title Shot

A lot of British boxing fans may not have been familiar with Hamzah Sheeraz a year or two ago. However, that has most definitely changed recently, with many people believing Sheeraz could even be the best fighter on UK shores right now.

At just 25-years-old, Sheeraz has a long and potentially fruitful career still ahead of him. Although still relatively young, Hamzah Sheeraz’s record is a perfect 21-0. This includes 17 wins via knockout, as well as winning the European and Commonwealth Middleweight Titles too.

Now, it seems that Sheeraz could add to this record in his next fight, as it has been confirmed that he will take on Carlos Adames for the WBC World Middleweight Title in February 2025.

Rumours had been circulating on social media about Sheeraz’s next fight, and whether it could be against the likes of Adames, Chris Eubank Jr or even Janibek Alimkhannuly. Itwas confirmed on 2nd December that Adames is willing to defend his world crown against Sheeraz in Saudi Arabia on February 22nd.

This will be Sheeraz’s first shot at world honours and a chance to make history. Not only is Sheeraz’s next fight part of this star-studded line -up, so too is the Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol rematch, Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker and a few other incredible fights too.

The Frank Warren promoted middleweight has fought on two successive Riyadh Season shows now, with His Excellency Turki Alalshikh evidently a fan of the hard-hitting Brit.

Despite being the challenger, Hamzah Sheeraz’s next fight is one he is the favourite in with the best UK betting sites. This just goes to show how good a fight Sheeraz is and the heights he could reach between now and the end of his career.

Could Hamzah Sheeraz Unify The Middleweight Division Or Fight Chris Eubank Jr Next?

As previously alluded to, Hamzah Sheeraz’s next fight sees him face Carlos Adames for the WBC World Middleweight Title on February 22nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

All roads now lead to Sheeraz winning a world title at 160-pounds before attempting to unify the division. There have been talks of an Erislandy Lara fight or Janibek Alimkhanuly bout, both of whom currently hold versions of the world middleweight titles.

Should he get through the Adames fight unscathed, Hamzah Sheeraz’s next fight after that could be a unification clash against one of those two names. Don’t write of Sheeraz attempting to become undisputed too before a move up to super-middleweight in the coming months or years.

Another potential option for Sheeraz after the Adames clash could be an all-British affair against Chris Eubank Jr. Although this fight seems unlikely, it could get made if there is a world title on the line and Eubank Jr is willing to put his grudge match with Conor Benn on hold for a while.

At the end of the day, no matter who he fights Hamzah Sheeraz will likely go in as the favourite with the best boxing betting sites in the UK. He really is that good. Time will tell what happens next with the unbeaten British middleweight, but it seems the only way is up for 25-year-old.
