Scottish football fans are in for a treat as the world's best female player gears up to play at Hampden Park.
Barcelona and Spain captain Alexia Putellas will be turning out for Spain - now regarded as one of the best national teams on the planet - as they face off against Scotland in their crunch FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 Qualifier on Tuesday night.
With two matches left, Pedro Martínez Losa's Scotland side currently sit second in their group table, five points behind Spain and four points clear of Hungary. Securing second place would see Scotland earn a play-off spot.

Back in January, Putellas followed up her Ballon d'Or triumph by winning FIFA's Best women's player awards for 2021, just a month after she took home Globe Soccer’s ‘Best Woman Footballer of the Year’ prize at a gala in Dubai in December.
The 28-year-old also picked up UEFA's Women’s Player of the Year back in August last year after guiding Barcelona to an incredible treble-winning season - which saw them triumph in the Spanish Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino, the Copa de la Reina and the Women’s Champions League.
And the Scotland clash against Spain comes just weeks after Putellas scored in Barcelona's 5-2 victory over Real Madrid in the quarter final second leg of the Women’s Champions League at the Camp Nou, in front of a world record 91,533 people.
