Police have closed a road in Hamilton after a man was hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Bothwell Road around 8.55am on Wednesday morning after the incident unfolded.
The man's condition is unknown and officers remain on the scene.

A road closure is also in place while investigations are carried out.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.55am on Tuesday, February 1, police were called to a report of a man struck by a vehicle in Bothwell Road, Hamilton.
"Officers are at the scene and the road has been closed."
Local MSP Monica Lennon also urged residents to choose an alternative route.
She said: "Bothwell Road, Hamilton is closed due to a police Incident near to Hamilton College.
"Please avoid the area until further notice."
