The body of a man has been found this afternoon in a wooded area in Hamilton.
Police were called to the scene on Udston Road, in the Hillhouse area, around 2.40pm.
Officers are currently treating the death as unexplained, a spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live.
Inquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 2.40pm police were called to reports of a man's body discovered in Udston Road in Hamilton.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
"Enquiries are at an early stage and remain ongoing."
