Hamilton Accies have re-signed defender Reghan Tumilty on a two-year deal, after the former Raith Rovers star u-turned on an earlier decision to leave the club this summer.
Tumilty, 26, scored Hamilton's winner in the SPFL Trust Trophy win over his former club last season.
Accies say the star has been in negotiations for several weeks, and has decided to stay on.
He told the club's website: "At this stage of my career this was a really important decision for me to make. - both personally and for for my career, as I want to play at the highest level I can.
"The decision of the club and my direct dealings with [chief executive] Gerry Strain have been really reassuring.
"The way that the gaffer has been really honest and open with me, regarding my career and the development he sees in me, has been reassuring. The way that the club has treated me as well as this situation has been really professional and respectful leading to me signing up for another two years today.
"I feel that I have a lot of unfinished business here at Hamilton Accies and my personal ambitions are really in synergy with the club's long-term vision.
"Our aim this year is to bring success to Hamilton Accies, and this is something I want to play my part in, adding to the part of the club's history that I've already contributed to withi my winning goal in the SPFL Trust Trophy success.
"Our collective goal is to give the fans something to really cheer and celebrate, and I am wholly committed to doing all I can to play my part in that chapter of our club's history."
Gerry Strain said: "The negotiations with Reghan have been lengthy, but always honest, transparent and respectful.
"We're genuinely delighted that he's committed to giving our club these next few important years of his career and we're delighted that another part of the team we've envisioned is now in place."
