Hamilton Accies send goalkeeper out on loan deal

Hamilton Accies Blackburn United Jamie Smith

Hamilton Accies have loaned young goalkeeper Jamie Smith out to Blackburn United for the rest of this season.

The 19-year-old is third choice at New Douglas Park behind Joe Hilton and Ryan Fulton, and has signed for the West Lothian club.

Smith has previously had loan spells at Rossvale and Broomhill, and follows Kyle Munro, who was last week loaned out to Clydebank in the West of Scotland League.

Blackburn United play in the East of Scotland League Premier Division, with home games at New Murrayfield Park.
