Hamilton Accies have this morning released Finnish midfielder Miko Virtanen.
The 23-year-old has been beset with injuries and has played only five times this season, the last of which came in the 3-1 defeat at Raith Rovers on November 5.
He also played 19 games last season, scoring once, having joined from Aberdeen Under-20s in July.
A club statement read: "A popular player here, and in the dressing room, Miko departs with our best wishes for the future."
