Hamas Commander Responsible For Kibbutz Attack Killed In Drone Strike

Aftermath of a deadly infiltration by Hamas gunmen from Gaza Strip, in Kibbutz Beeri

Israel Defense Force (IDF) announced the successful elimination of Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a top Hamas commander responsible for the heinous attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7. Sabah, who led the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz near the Gaza border, was killed in a targeted drone strike in the Western Khan Yunis Battalion.

The IDF, in collaboration with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA), conducted an intelligence-based strike to eliminate Sabah, who was hiding in a shelter within a designated humanitarian area in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Sabah was identified as one of the leaders of the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz and had been involved in numerous terrorist attacks against IDF troops.

In a statement released on social media, the IDF and ISA affirmed their commitment to continue operations against all terrorists involved in the October 7th massacre. The agencies emphasized that they took extensive measures to minimize harm to civilians by utilizing precise munitions, intelligence, and aerial surveillance.

Sabah's leadership in the destruction of Kibbutz Nir Oz resulted in nearly half of the 400 residents being either killed or taken captive during the attack. The successful elimination of Sabah marks a significant victory in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and protect civilian populations in the region.
