Hamas captivity survivor makes ceasefire plea: 'No one should be left behind‘

A Hamas captivity survivor made an emotional plea to ensure no hostages are “left behind” following a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel.

Speaking at The Hostages and Missing Families Forum on Wednesday (15 January) - the day the historic ceasefire was announced, the woman, named Moran made a “simple, yet urgent plea”.

Moran said: “This is not about politics or strategy, it’s about humanity and the shared belief that no-one should be left behind or in darkness.

“We urge you to support a solution that that will secure their freedom, restore their dignity and prove that compassion and unity can prevail over despair.”
