Halt the sleep divorce! Eve Sleep launches customisable duvet for bed-sharing couples

The Eve sleep multi-way duvet on a grey bed in a well-lit bedroom.

Constant battles with your partner over the ideal sleep temperature? Forced to sleep hot since your partner likes an extra thick duvet? If either of these sound familiar, Eve Sleep's latest duvet launch might be just for you.

While many of our top picks in this year's best mattress guide for all sleepers feature designs made to make sharing a bed easier, there are seldom duvet designs curated for couples with contrasting sleep preferences.

The new Wunderflex Multi-Way duvet enters the picture with its unique zip-up design incorporating two linkable halves in eight combinations for bed buddies who like to sleep in different temperatures. The duvet which is available in four different sizes starts from just £99 at eve’s official website in addition to a host of other perks, which we'll explore further here.

Eve Sleep Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet: Design

This Eve Sleep duvet is designed to be zipped down in the middle joining two halves of different layers. The duvet is completely customisable as it includes two 4.5 togs and two 9 tog panels which can be mixed and matched or layered to form a cosy 13.5 tog.

This innovative construction allows partners to pick and choose their individual temperature preferences while sharing the same duvet.

The product, made from 100% recycled anti-allergy fibre filling, is covered in a super soft microfibre cover. This design is also practical making cleaning a much easier process, as each layer can be separately put into your washing machine at 40 degrees.

Eve Sleep Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet: Features

The main feature of the duvet is its flexibility. The 4 different layer options which can be joined together with its zip and link design in the middle makes it easy to share between partners.

This also means that it could be an ideal choice for those who are not keen on changing their bedding depending on each season. By mixing and matching the togs, you can customise your own cosy nest for winter nights or create light breathable comfort for humid summers.

The 100% lightweight recycled fibre filling in each layer, makes this a good choice for anyone who prefers sustainable bedding products. This is also a serious boon for sleepers constantly struggling with allergies.

The whole package is encased in a microfibre cover which is both soft to touch and breathable. This means, like the best duvets, no matter the weather you should be able to regulate your temperature throughout the night.

Eve Sleep Wunderflex Multi-Way Duvet: Price and sizes

The duvet comes in 4 different sizes: single, double, king and super king. Each size includes two lightweight 4.5 togs and two thicker 9 tog panels.

The brand also offers a 200-night sleep trial, free delivery and a 2 year warranty. A single size of the duvet is available at just £99. The price details for the different variants are as below:

  • Single ( 90 x 190cm): £99
  • Double ( 135 x 190 cm): £139
  • Super King ( 180 x 200 cm): £189
  • Super King ( 180 x 200 cm): £189

Is a customisable duvet right for you?

While the Eve Sleep Wunderflex multi-way duvet is a great option for any couple considering the viral Scandinavian method (sleeping with separate duvets) or having trouble adjusting to each other’s temperature preferences, it won't be the solution to all of your sleep troubles.

A customisable duvet is a great remedy if the sole cause of all your bed battles with your partner are focused on who hogs the duvet. However, if your sleep disruptions extend further and either of you experience sleep apnea, insomnia, or other sleep disorders, you might want to consider other solutions.

If sharing a bed is your main struggle, then using this duvet as well as ensuring your bed has excellent motion isolation could greatly improve your quality of sleep.
