Halloween Horror Nights: Universal now selling Frequent Fear passes

ORLANDO, Fla. — Multiple-night tickets for the 2021 edition of Halloween Horror Nights have been posted on Universal Orlando’s website, including express passes and the all-you-can-scream Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass.

Previously, only single-night tickets had been on sale for this year’s event, which begins Sept. 3.

"The Haunting of Hill House," a Netflix horror series, will be presented in a haunted house maze during the 2021 edition of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.

The Halloween Horror Nights Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass sells for $284.99 online, and it includes admission to all 42 evenings of the event. Adding “express,” a shortcut to each of HHN’s 10 haunted houses one time per night, makes the price $749.99. (The multi-night passes are all $20 cheaper online than buying at the theme park’s front gate.)

There are several less intense options available online.

—Rush of Fear Pass allows entry on the first 16 nights of HHN for $129. With express, it’s $399.99.

—The Frequent Fear Pass is good on 26 select nights (never a Friday or Saturday) for $159.99. With the express option, it’s $459.99.

—The Frequent Fear Plus Pass is valid on 35 select nights (no Saturdays until Oct. 30) for $189.99. Add express and it’s $529.99.

The site also lists the express pass for single-night visits, and the price ranges between $89.99 and $179.99 atop regular admission.

Admission to a single night of HHN is posted as between $70.99 and $99.99, depending on the date.

According to the official event Twitter account, all tickets are now on sale. Unlike previous years, there are no annual-passholder discounts presented.

The Universal site also offers a behind-the-scenes tour (starting at $79.99 for three houses and $129.99 for six houses) and a V.I.P. / R.I.P. Tour starting at $229.99.

Houses revealed thus far include Beetlejuice, the Haunting of Hill House, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Bride of Frankenstein Lives. On Thursday, the park announced a fifth house called Halloween Horror Nights Icons: Captured, featuring Jack the Clown (and Chance), the Director, the Usher, the Storyteller and the Caretaker. There will be 10 mazes for 2021, Universal says.

Last year’s HHN was canceled due to coronavirus pandemic, making the upcoming event Universals’ 30th Halloween celebration.

To purchase tickets, go to halloweenhorrornights.com, click on tickets, then click on “single-night tickets,” which takes users to another page with the Frequent Fear options.
