Halle Berry Seeks Court Intervention In Co-Parenting Dispute With Ex

Halle Berry American actress

Halle Berry has recently filed court documents alleging that her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, is attempting to delay their agreed-upon therapy sessions as part of their co-parenting agreement. The actress claims that Martinez has decided to defer co-parenting therapy until September due to his travel plans, which include a trip to France in July and a visit from his brother in August.

The exes, who were married from 2013 to 2016, have been engaged in a contentious divorce battle until 2023. In May, they reached a new co-parenting agreement that included sessions with a co-parenting coach. However, Berry claims that Martinez has not been cooperative and has chosen to prioritize his travel over attending the therapy sessions.

Berry expressed her frustration in the court documents, stating that Martinez's actions are harmful to their 10-year-old son, Maceo, and further strain their already fragile relationship. She is seeking court intervention to enforce the agreed-upon schedule for the therapy sessions.

In response to Berry's allegations, Martinez has denied her claims and accused her of using her wealth and legal resources to pressure him. The former couple finalized their divorce and custody agreement in August 2023, granting them joint legal custody of Maceo. Berry agreed to pay Martinez monthly child support and additional support based on her income above a certain threshold.

It is evident that the co-parenting relationship between Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez is facing challenges, and the court will need to intervene to ensure the well-being of their son and the enforcement of their co-parenting agreement.
