Halle Berry, the Oscar-winning actress, recently shared the extensive list of injuries she has endured throughout her acting career. During the promotion of her upcoming Netflix comedy spy movie, 'The Union,' Berry revealed that she has been knocked out three times, suffered a broken arm, broken ribs on two occasions, a broken tailbone, two broken toes, and a broken finger. Mark Wahlberg, her co-star, also disclosed his own injuries, including a torn meniscus, a separated shoulder, and a bruised ego from his dedication to his craft.
Berry recounted some of the challenging on-screen feats she has undertaken, such as holding her breath underwater for nearly two and a half minutes while filming 'Dark Tide.' She also shared the difficulties of portraying Storm in the 'X-Men' movies, where she had to be suspended in the air on a wire for an extended period.
In addition to her physical challenges, Berry highlighted the martial arts skills she has acquired over the years, including jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, taekwondo, and firearms training. Wahlberg, on the other hand, mentioned his unique skills in crochet, ballet, and tango dancing, which he learned for a specific role.
Both actors' willingness to push their physical limits and acquire new skills for their roles exemplifies their dedication to their craft and commitment to delivering authentic performances on screen.
