Legendary and Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown has passed away. The civil rights activist, actor, and dominant running back for the Cleveland Browns was 87 years old. Brown “passed away peacefully in his Los Angeles home on Thursday night with his wife, Monique, by his side.”
A decorated member of the Browns, the running back ran for over 1,000 yards eight times throughout his career. He led the league in rushing all eight of those years as well. Brown additionally led the league in touchdowns in five of his seasons.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
