Haksabanovic leaves Montenegro boss irate after pulling out of international squad

Celtic winger Haksabanovic has left his national team manager irate after declining to play for Montenegro in their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The forward completed a loan move to English Championship side Stoke City on deadline day after complaining about a lack of game time under Brendan Rodgers.

And now Miodrag Radulovic has revealed the 24-year-old will not feature for his country over the international break as he has other "obligations" to fufil.

He said: "Sead contacted us and said that he needs to fulfil obligations related to moving from club to club, from Scotland to England, so we cannot count on him.

"Let him think about this decision. The players show how much they care playing for our national team by the decisions they make.

"He's decided to put his own personal situation first. So I will only concentrate on the players that are here and who do want to play for Montenegro."

Meanwhile, Celtic have confirmed the price of their three-match package for the Champions League.

Supporters will pay £138 to attend the home fixtures against Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid and Lazio.

The total is up £9 from last season, where the Hoops took on Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Concessions cost £108 and under 13s are priced at £96.

It will be the third time Brendan Rodgers has managed the Parkhead club in Europe's premier competition and he spoke previously about how much he is looking forward to the group.

He said: "It is always exciting, of course when you watch it and you see the teams and the groups and to be a part of that is fantastic.

"It is great for players to place themselves against the best players in Europe. The supporters are going to go to some great cities and some great stadiums and we want to be in there and be competitive and fight to get through the group."
