Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers gives fans an update on his health as he gets back on his bike for the first time.
Dave was diagnosed with cancer last year and announced it in May while on podcast The Hairy Bikers: Agony Uncles… A Right Pair of Aunts. He said at the time that he wanted to discuss it publicly because he didn’t want to “hide under a rock”.
In a previous podcast, the 65-year-old said his walking had been impacted due to his ongoing treatment and he feels he has had to learn to walk again, but despite the ongoing treatment, he added he remains positive about his outlook.

The star has not revealed the specific cancer he has, but has shared updates with fans about how his treatment is going. Fans were delighted to see him back on This Morning earlier this year with co-star Si King.
Now, the star has shared another update with fans as he said he has had to learn to ride his bike again after chemotherapy treatment, the Mirror reports. He said: "It’s been hard but I’m not the only one and I’m getting through it and I’m back at work.
"I’ve had to learn to walk again and ride my bike again, and to get on my bike again with Kingy in the sunshine brought tears to both our eyes."
Speaking previously on the How To Be 60 podcast, Dave said: "I really have no symptoms of the cancer, it's the chemotherapy. It's neuropathy in your feet, so it's hard to stand. So I've had to learn to walk again properly."
Dave went on to say however that he will be back on set soon working on the BBC show as he says they will film around the chemotherapy. He added: "That's just the way it is really. One doesn't have an option at the minute. All I can say is it's not spreading and I'm holding my own ok, so I'm very grateful for that."
