Hailey Bieber's 'loud luxury' shower is a masterclass in making your bathroom appear larger

Model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber recently took to Instagram to announce Rhode's collaboration with Krispy Kreme on a new flavor of peptide lip treatment. However, fans were quick to notice a more underrated launch hidden within the post: the reveal of Hailey's dark marble shower.

Hailey's beautiful, maximalist space offers a plethora of bathroom design ideas.

This shower in the home of Hailey and Justin Bieber features two types of marble tiles: one in a light, almost tan, gray with subtle white veins accented by a bright white tile with dark black veins. Gold hardware emphasizes the shine of the marble, while sleek glass doors offer a modern touch. This bathroom shower idea is not one to miss.

Though Rhode's Peptide Lip Treatment is receiving rave reviews, our interior design experts are even more obsessed with Hailey's walk-in shower design idea. Elizabeth Lord-Levitt, principal designer at Elizabeth P. Lord, says the design has amazing harmony.

'The large format natural stone tiles used for the shower surround are a compliment to the contrasting marble trims and marble floor, and the brass fixtures and hardware add a pop of glam and texture to the space without overpowering it,' she states. 'The use of the mosaic dark marble on the floor grounds the large footprint, while the niche adds the function for the shampoo bottles.'

She continues: 'The combination works well together because the marble trim and floor take center stage as the notable focal point. The design draws the eye wide to create the illusion of a large shower.'

Jennifer Ebert, Digital Editor at Homes & Gardens says, 'Part of what I love about this design is that it is unapologetically glamorous. Lately, we've been seeing a lot of 'quiet luxury' bathrooms in popular styles like mid-century modern and California minimalist. Hailey and Justin's shower is the opposite of the current trend. Yes, it's bold, but moreover, it's incredibly stylish.'

Interior design expert Elizabeth Lord-Levitt also loves how the design makes the bathroom appear larger. 'Using the marble trim detail around the shower opening and continuing the marble base mold into the shower from the bathroom creates the illusion that the shower is a large additional room within the bathroom,' she says. Elizabeth continues, 'It formalizes the shower and creates interest while still feeling cohesive with the remaining bathroom details.'

Forget quiet luxury, marble bathroom ideas are this season's hottest shower look.
