Hailey Bieber rushed to hospital after suffering blood clot on her brain

Hailey Bieber has described being rushed to hospital with a blood clot on her brain as one of the 'scariest moments' of her life.

The 25-year-old model took to Instagram to recall how she started experiencing 'stroke like symptoms' while having breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber on Thursday morning.

Hailey said she was taken to hospital where doctors found she had suffered 'a very small blood clot' to the brain, which caused a 'small lack of oxygen.'

She spoke out after reports swirled that the star had been hospitalised with a brain condition that was rumoured to be linked to Covid.

Clearing up the rumours, Hailey said her body 'passed the blood clot' on its own and she 'recovered completely within a few hours.'

"Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love – Hailey.”

The wife of pop star Justin Bieber was said to have been admitted to a Palm Springs hospital a few days ago following a 'medical emergency.'

Justin, 28, came down with Covid a few weeks ago and has since recovered. The Baby singer had to postpone his Las Vegas shows after coming down with the virus.

Following her health scare, Hailey has now been released from hospital with doctors still trying to work out what caused her sudden deterioration in health, according to TMZ.

A source told the publication that medics ran a series of tests on the 25-year-old to see if Covid played a factor.

Mirror Online has contacted Hailey's representatives for comment.

On Friday evening, Hailey posted a prayer of hope to her Instagram story.

She wrote: "Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers letting God know your concerns.

"Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life."

Earlier this week, Hailey attended husband Justin's concert in Los Angeles and took to Instagram to post about her evening.

The model shared three selfies of her ab-baring outfit as she snapped pictures of herself in the mirror.

She also reposted a clip from her friend's page that showed her jumping, dancing and mouthing the words to a number of Justin's hit songs.

Justin had been forced to postpone his dates in Las Vegas last month after a Covid outbreak among his tour staff.

"Due to positive Covid results within the Justice Tour family, we will unfortunately have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas,” the tour promoter said in a statement. "Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority."

The following day, Justin's rep confirmed that he had tested positive but was 'feeling OK.'

The postponement came just days after Justin kicked off his Justice World Tour, which had suffered numerous delays already throughout the pandemic.
