Former Arizona Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins has made a lot of catches in his NFL career. Since entering the NFL in 2013, he has 984 in the regular season.
Perhaps his most famous catch is the one he had in 2020 for the Arizona Cardinals to win a game over the Buffalo Bills.
It was a 43-yard Hail Mary throw from quarterback Kyler Murray that Hopkins caught in the end zone, leaping up in the air and hauling it in between three Buffalo defenders with two seconds left in the game to give the Cardinals a 32-30 win.
However, that is not Hopkins’ favorite catch of his career.
Now on the Kansas City Chiefs, getting ready to play in Super Bowl LIX, Hopkins was asked what the favorite catch of his career has been.

His favorite catch happened this year, his first touchdown reception after joining the Chiefs. It came Nov. 4 in a 30-24 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he scored twice.
“The Hail Mary was dope, but I’m not playing for a Super Bowl in Arizona,” he said. “I’m playing for something meaningful here.”
Hopkins spoke this week about how, during his time with the Tennessee Titans, he began to lose his love for the game. Since he was traded to the Chiefs, he has been reenergized.
Hopkins is one of four former Cardinals on the Chiefs getting ready for the Super Bowl.
