H&M has left shoppers 'head over heels in love' with a new pair of shoes - that look 'identical' to a designer version by luxury brand Hermes. The new sandals recently went on sale in the high street shop, with many happy customers already calling the footwear a gorgeous 'dupe' for the more expensive version.
The sandals were highlighted on popular shopping Instagram account galslovehighstreet , which shares 'the best women's high street fashion and beauty’ to more than 188k followers. In the post, uploaded on Monday (March 13), the owner of the account shared a brief clip of the 'H&M Hermes dupes' hanging from a rail in a store.
The caption read: “As if @hm wasn’t already our faves they go and drop these Hermès dooops!! What’s your fave, the chunky or the thin ones?? Let us know in the comments below”, as reported by Liverpool Echo.

In H&M, the 'dupes' are being sold in black for £19.99. While a pair of Hermes Ankara Sandals will cost you an eye-watering £520 more at £540.
On the H&M website, a description for the shoes reads: “Slides with a wide foot strap, moulded insoles and fluted soles.” The shoes currently have a 4.8 out of five star rating on the website.
When comparing the H&M Slides and the Hermes Ankara Sandal, it's clear they are almost identical. A slight difference is just that the Hermes version has an extra strap that goes across the foot, while the H&M offering does not.
Lots of impressed shoppers took to the comment section of the Instagram post to react. Salty_styling's replied: "Omg I need these." Kat.s.style added: "These are so nice!!!!!" Shanise.c_ revealed: "Got these today so nice." Milliegenner admitted that she was: "Obsessed." Lauralowe_x tagged a friend and said: "I am all here for this."
On the H&M website, one review reads: "These sandals are so comfortable and for the price, you really can't go wrong, run to get these, they are gorgeous!" A second says: "Gorgeous sandals amazing price and a dupe for some very boujee designer sandals!!"
