H&M shoppers loving £20 'dupe' of £540 Hermes sandals

Shoppers are loving recently released sandals from high street retailer H&M which are priced at £19.99.

H&M has released the pair of sandals which have been labelled by some shoppers as a 'dupe' of a pair by luxury fashion company Hermes, reports Liverpool Echo.

The sandals were shared to Instagram this week by galslovehighstreet, an account that shares ‘the best women's high street fashion and beauty’. The account has a following of nearly 190k.

The video was captioned: "As if @hm wasn’t already our faves they go and drop these Hermès dooops!! What’s your fave, the chunky or the thin ones?? Let us know in the comments below."

The H&M Slides and the Hermes Ankara Sandal are similar in style.

Liverpool Echo report that the Hermes version has an extra strap that goes across the foot in comparison to the H&M pair.

The designer version are priced at £540.

The high-street version is black in colour, and their description reads: "Slides with a wide foot strap, moulded insoles and fluted soles."

Commenting under galslovehighstreet's Instagram post of H&M's pair, one shopper said: "Got these today so nice."

Another added: "Omg I need these."

A five-star review on the high street retailer's website said: "These sandals are so comfortable and for the price, you really can't go wrong, run to get these, they are gorgeous!"

Another H&M shopper said: "Gorgeous sandals amazing price and a dupe for some very boujee designer sandals!!"
