H&M's 'versatile' £24 blazer that 'perfect for autumn'

Autumn is well and truly in full swing, which means it's time to refresh our wardrobes and welcome those much-loved autumnal tones.

I personally absolutely love autumnal clothes, there's something so appealing about the colours and the cosiness of an autumn outfit. As much as summer is undoubtedly lovely, I can't help but get excited when I see chunky knits and big coats for sale at my favourite high street stores.

Recently, I popped into H&M in need of a comfy autumnal blazer to wear not just to work, but out and about too. I was after a versatile blazer that I could wear for a number of different occasions, that was nice and easy to pair up with other outfits.

I found a really nice looking blazer in H&M a couple of weeks prior to my trip but regrettably didn't buy it at the time. Since then, the blazer has crossed my mind a fair few times, so I thought I'd take the plunge and treat myself.

In all honesty I was expecting the stylish looking blazer to be at least £40, which is why I was pretty surprised when I saw that it was priced at £24.99. For the quality and look of the blazer, I was expecting a heftier fee.

The 'double-breasted' jacket is priced at £24.99 and is available to purchase on the H&M website and in store. The product description reads: "Straight-cut, double-breasted jacket in a woven viscose blend. Relaxed fit with narrow notch lapels, buttons at the front and jetted front pockets. Lined."

I was really drawn to the colours of the blazer, and opted for a larger size to get that oversized look. I much prefer choosing larger oversized blazers to go with outfits, and I think this one looked fabulous.

Of course, there are only certain colours you can wear with a blazer like this, and you can't really clash patterns, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm still going to be wearing it all the time. It was so versatile, and can be smart for work, but also be casual with some comfy trousers and trainers.

I found the blazer really comfortable too. It wasn't an incredibly thick material, but it was warm enough to shield me from the cold on an evening without feeling too uncomfortable and warm.

I've got a fair few blazers that look good aesthetically, but are incredibly thick and itchy. This one was just right, and was surprisingly nice and soft on the inside.
