H&M's new £25 spring mule heels that shoppers say are 'classy and comfy'

H&M fans are desperately trying to get a pair of the chain's new heels that look perfect for spring. Shoppers have described the mules as "classy" and "comfy" as the warmer weather draws near.

The mules, with a decorative knot at the front, are in imitation leather with covered 8cm block heels while also featuring a square toe. With a stylish and elegant design, owners are already rushing to leave reviews on the fashion retailer's website and social media.

One said: "I wasn’t too sure about these mules but not now. I love them! Not as high as I thought and the really comfy. They fit perfect. The strap is soft and it stretches while you walk. They look really elegant too. Can wait to wear them out. Thinking about getting them in the other colours."

Another, also commenting on the website, added: "This is sooo gorgeous, but I had to size up as I'm normally a size 7, so this is a smaller, narrower shoe for it to fit me perfectly. It does squeak when walking around, and the knot does not dig in which is a relief. The chunky heel is so stable and comfortable, so I'll see how it does in real life when I wear it out."

Commenters on Instagram described the new footwear as being 'gorgeous' and 'pretty' to name a few. While others have said they looked more expensive in real life and classy due to their cost of £24.99.

H&M posted a photo of the heels on its Instagram page over the weekend and more than 27,000 people have since 'liked' the post. Several said they wanted to snap them up in all three colours - light purple, 'light greige' and black.

One person said on a night out they were adored by many and she received compliments on the way the block-heeled shoes looked. "Can these be anymore classy?" asked one Instagram user, while another agreed: "Love them and super comfy!!!"

It's not all positive for H&M today, however - this morning the brand announced it would be closing 240 stores around the world after a slowdown in sales. It will also open 95 new ones, reducing its overall offering by 145.
