H&M's chunky mule loafers have fans saying "you don't need Birkenstocks"

Fashion retailer H&M have released a new pair of shoes that fans have been excitedly raving about both its style and comfort.

On Instagram, the official H&M page showcased a pair of black chunky mule loafers in a post, alongside the caption: “Slipping your feet into something comfy to run errands never looked better."

According to the H&M website, the loafers are priced at £29.99 which consist of satin linings and chunky soles patterned underneath, with the heels themselves at a length of five cm.

Shoppers and fans alike flocked to the comments’ section to share their opinions on the loafers.

One user enthusiastically raved: “I've never bought something so fast in my life!!!” while another added: “I describe only my feelings, how they sit on me - comfortable.”

A third chimed in to also praise the loafers by writing: “I’ve just bought them! They are very cool, the size matches. Love them.”

A fourth user caught a case of 90s nostalgia as they reminisced: “Reminds me of school shoes I had in the 90s but from dolices river island & ravel.”

Meanwhile, a fifth even compared the loafers to another famously comfortable shoe brand as they wrote: “I think you might need those for the days you don’t wear the Birkenstocks” and a sixth concurred: “I want some of them so bad.”
