H&M is one of Britain's go-to high street stores for shoppers on a budget - so it might come as a surprise to stumble upon a product there with a three-figure price tag. The most expensive bag for sale on the chain's website currently is a £140 leather shopper, which comes in green or black.
Posting a photo of the green version on its Instagram page earlier this week, the chain wrote: "You don’t want someone’s bag to steal all the attention. Unless it’s yours."
More than 16,000 people liked the post, with many fans taking to the comments section to question if it is available in their country. One described the colour as "beautiful".

It bears a striking resemblance to a designer bag from the luxury Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta, called the 'Arco Tote'. It retails at £2,200 and comes in seven colours, including 'raintree/parakeet' which is a similar shade of green to the H&M shopper.
Both bags have a rigid holdall-style leather handle, and six smaller squares of leather stitched on the front in a neat patchwork. Maple, 'lemon washed/thunder', black, 'butter/tangerine' and 'mirth washed/grape' are the other colour options for the high-end version, which is made out of lamb skin leather according to the listing online.
The H&M bag only comes in two colours - the green, and a plain black. Both retail at £139.99 and are listed online as being "not available in stores", but both were in stock online at the time of writing.
It's part of its 'premium collection' and the description states: "Leather shopper with two handles at the top and a zipped inner compartment. Depth 13 cm. Height 24 cm. Width 36 cm. Lined."
Other budget chains are also rivalling high-end designers with their own more affordable take on luxury fashion. Boohoo's check duffle bucket bag looks like a Louis Vuitton dupe but will save shoppers almost £1.4k.
