FRUSTRATED Jim Goodwin couldn't quite believe his Aberdeen side were left with nothing to show after their performance against Rangers.
The Pittodrie side were in front heading into stoppage time but by the final whistle they had no points to show for a tireless display.
Scott Arfield netted twice in stoppage time to earn victory for the visitors. Leighton Clarkson and Luis Lopes had put Aberdeen ahead after Fashion Sakala's opener.
Goodwin was stunned in his post-match reaction to the result as he insisted his side deserved all three points from the match.
"(I'm) Gutted. It's very hard to put into words what just happened there to be honest," he said on Sky Sports.
"I thought the boys were excellent for the majority of the game and not only deserved to take something from the game, I thought we deserved to win the game. Two late goals like that it's incredible, I've never experienced anything quite like it.
"It will take a wee while to get over this one, no doubt."
While Goodwin was visibly disappointed by the result, he refused to take aim at his players as he defended Kelle Roos who had spilled a shot to allow Arfield to hit the equaliser before losing a sloppy third in the dying seconds of the match.
"It was extremely frustrating," said Goodwin of the manner of the goals. "One was a mistake for the equaliser but in fairness, our goalkeeper has been immense throughout the course of the season - he's very unlucky and it's a tap-in for (Scott) Arfield.
"When it goes to 2-2 we should see the game out, manage the game a bit better and at least take a point. It's too early now for me to analyse it, I'm probably a little bit too frustrated.
"I thought the boys were excellent for the majority, I thought we played with real intensity and a bit of fight there tonight.
"We scored a couple of cracking goals. We had to make changes late on because the boys were running out of energy.
"Unfortunately, we just weren't able to see it out."
