Gustavo Scarpa loving life already at Nottingham Forest as brilliant videos shared

Prospective Nottingham Forest player Gustavo Scarpa has spent Saturday familiarizing himself with Nottingham City centre by riding around on his signature skateboard.

The Brazil international flew to England earlier this week, posting a photo to Instagram on December 1 showing himself standing between two huge suitcases outside an airport. Since then the player has documented his time in the East Midlands on the social media platform.

On Friday, Scarpa posed for a selfie nearby All Bar One on Weekday Cross before posting photos from the club's training ground in West Bridgford. That was then followed up by another selfie, captioned "it's happening", showing the player in the club's training gear with a Forest badge on his chest.

Later that evening he watched the club's friendly at Loughborough University Stadium against Stoke City from the stands, accompanying a photo displaying the four-degree temperatures with an icy-blue faced emoji before posing for a photo with representatives from his FFP Agency. After the match, Scarpa photographed The Wheel of Nottingham and the rest of Winter Wonderland in Old Market Square, stopping by to tuck into a crepe.

On Saturday morning, after taking in the sunrise, Scarpa headed to the city centre with his skateboard that displays a graphic of Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer statue on its underside in hand. Videos show the player riding around and pulling off a selection of tricks where the High Street meets Clumber Street in front of the Robin Hood's Jacket Potatoes vendor.
