One man has been shot and a gunman is on the run from a small town west of Brisbane.
Police were called to Rocky Gully Road in Coominya after reports of shots fired about 11am on Saturday.
The victim aged in his 30s was found with gunshot wounds and airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been set up as detectives scour the area.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public but have not released further details of the incident.
Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the area is urged to come forward.
