A teenager, suspected of possessing a gun, has been charged by police.
At around 4.35pm on Saturday, June 18 officers executed a warrant at a house at The Beechwalks, off Queens Drive. A gun was recovered by police at the address and a man, aged 68, and three teens, two aged 16 and the third 13, all from Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of possession of a Section 5 firearm.
Merseyside Police has now revealed that the force has charged one of the 16-year-olds following the incident. He has been charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.
