Gun salutes sound from Hyde Park in London with a round fired every minute of the procession – there were 38 rounds in total.
The gun salute is a traditional military honour which is used at significant royal events such as birthdays, anniversaries and funerals. The total number of rounds fired depends on the occassion and location.
