Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden and James Bye have caught the attention of Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn after their Marvel-themed dance routine for Movie Week. The pair danced the Cha Cha Cha to Hooked On A Feeling from the famous film and dressed the part for their routine.
EastEnders actor James took on the role of Chris Pratt's character Star-Lord while the Welsh professional dancer painted herself green to look like Gamora. The pair scored 22 points out of a possible 40 for the performance, with Anton Du Beke telling James his timing was a "bit off" but overall it was a solid performance.

Meanwhile, Craig Revel-Horwood said it was "flat-footed and absolutely no hip action". However, despite the judges' comments, Amy and James' routine caught the attention of Marvel filmmaker James Gunn, who joked about adding the performance to the movie.
Sharing a clip of the video, he wrote on Twitter: "Can't decide whether I should keep this scene in Vol 3. Let me know what you think below."
The post racked up many comments, with one fan writing: "Never thought I’d see the day @jamesgunn was tweeting about an Eastenders actor dancing on Strictly." While another added: "I think it would be a suitable fit! Plus, no doubt it would start a social media trend!"
The comments also got back to Amy who was left amazed by the mention. The 32-year-old, who hails from Caerphilly, shared a fan's post on Instagram that read: "Looks like James Gunn, who made Guardians of the Galaxy, was impressed with tonight's dance! It's not every day you get noticed by a Hollywood director."
Sharing the post to her own social media platform, Amy wrote: "Wow, wow, wow." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
