GTA: Vice City cheats are a great way to breathe life back into the game, especially if you're awaiting the release of Grand Theft Auto 6. Of course, you could always hop into the GTA 5: Enhanced edition if you're just looking for that Rockstar fix but if you're looking to revisit an old classic but want to spice up your playthrough, GTA: Vice City cheats are the way to go.
In the list below, you'll find the codes to give yourself full weapons and armour, change the weather to suit your mood or spawn in your favourite car. But if you're looking for something a little more exciting, you can rain chaos down onto the city by arming pedestrians or spawning tanks. Tommy Vercetti isn't a man known for his restraint, after all.
Unlike GTA 3 cheats and GTA: San Andreas cheats, there is no money cheat for GTA: Vice City. You'll have to earn those bucks the hard way—or the easy way if you gift yourself an advanced weapon set and regenerating health. Here are the GTA: Vice City cheats.

How to use GTA: Vice City cheat codes

Here are a few things to think about before using Vice City cheat codes:
- To activate a cheat, just load up your game and type in one of the codes listed below while playing. There's no console command menu or anything like that: just type while in-game and enjoy your reward.
- The majority of GTA: Vice City's current cheat codes will work with the Definitive Edition release. The tables below detail what works and what doesn't in the remastered version.
- Always save your game before entering a code. This isn't a precaution against some rare save-corrupting bug, but because some cheats are permanent once enabled.
Permanent cheats require you to reload to a prior save state, and so it makes sense to contain the chaos to a new file. Otherwise you could potentially mess up many, many hours of progress. Don't take that chance.
Some cheats can be toggled off again safely, while others require a game restart to get rid of them but it's always best to save on a separate file to be sure.
