A group of friends from the Rhondda hit the streets of Porth on Saturday night dressed as Noah's Ark and his animals for their annual Christmas get together. The men have been honouring the tradition of meeting up every Christmas for a pub crawl in fancy dress outfits for the last 18 years.
This year they went for the theme Noah's Ark, donning matching animal outfits and a makeshift Ark for their festive crawl on Saturday. Matthew Jones, 39, said it has become a Christmas tradition that all the locals love.
He said: "It is a Christmas tradition around Porth now. All the locals love it and look forward to seeing what the theme is. We get loads of beeps and requests for selfies. Previous years we have done elves, nativity, Star Wars, turkeys, Harry Potter."

The group of friends missed out on the event in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic but were able to go ahead with a low key version in 2021. This year was the first year since 2019 they made the comeback where no restrictions were in place and the photos are better than ever.
They even filmed themselves making their way down Hannah Street singing "the animals were marching two by two". You can see the photos from the year they went as 101 Dalmations here and their Wizard of Oz night out here.
