After eliminating the Denver Nuggets in game five of the first round of the postseason, the Golden State Warriors were waiting for their opponent for the second-round series.
Following a win in game five, the Memphis Grizzlies needed just one more victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves to set up a date in round two with the Warriors.
On Friday, the Grizzlies surged past the Timberwolves in Minnesota 114-106 to punch a ticket to the Western Conference semi-finals. Demond Bane and Dillon Brooks each dropped 23 points to help push the Grizzlies past Karl Anthony-Towns and Anthony Edwards.
Six players for the Grizz tallied double-figure scoring efforts for the Grizzlies. Both Jaren Jackson Jr. (18 points and 14 rebounds) and Ja Morant (17 points and 11 assists) notched double-doubles.

With the second-round tilt set, the Warriors will now have to find a way to slow down Morant and company. Game one is set to tip-off at 12:30 p.m. PT on Sunday in Memphis.
