Grieving parents of woman, 20, killed in car crash pay tribute to ‘precious’ daughter

Staffordshire Police

The parents of a 20-year-old woman who died in a car crash have paid tribute to their “precious” daughter.

Aishwarya Nagar was driving a black Vauxhall Corsa in Tamworth, Staffordshire, on Thursday 4 May before coming into collision with a white BMW. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Ms Nagar tragically died at the scene.

In a tribute shared by Staffordshire Police, her family said: “Our dearest Aishwarya Meera Nagar, known to everyone as Aishi, sadly left us on 4 May.

“Aishi was daughter to Sanjay and Kena Nagar, sister to Diya and Khaylan Nagar and precious to all her family.”

Her aunt also took to Facebook to share her grief for her “beautiful angel niece.”

“I can’t comprehend that you are no longer here, but I know you are in that beautiful place called heaven,” she wrote. “The pain we are all faced with will continue, a young, beautiful, intelligent individual has been taken so soon,” she wrote.

“I promise Aishi, I will look after your Family as best as I can, I completely understand what they are all going through, but rest assured I am there for them.

“Rest in eternal peace Aishi, I pray you and your moti maa Darshana is with you, she will be your heavenly mother. You will be missed so much, but you won’t be forgotten.

“Thank you so so much for being there for my Khaya Nagar, keep giving her the strength and love you always gave her, she needs it more than ever.”

The passenger of the Corsa, a 17-year-old boy, and the passenger of the BMW, a woman in her 30s, were both taken to hospital where they remain in stable condition.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was also taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Collision investigators are continuing to appeal for information, in particular any dashcam or CCTV footage that can help with inquiries.
