Greater Manchester residents can expect grey skies and rain as the gloomy weather continues well into the weekend.
According to the Met Office, today will be another grey, wet and windy day with strong westerly winds predicted and scattered showers across the region. Some areas might see thunder and hale with the temperature set to peak at 12C.
Wednesday night will be a cold, windy affair with some showers and the temperature falling as low as 3C.

The moody weather is set to continue into Thursday with more of the same, but a little colder with some sunny intervals and temperatures peaking at 8C.
Despite the with sunny spells during the morning and little to no rain on Friday and Saturday, temperatures will remain quite low over the weekend at 9C .
This will continue well into Sunday which is expected to be a milder day which will see dark skies and rain across the region.
