Greta Thunberg's perfect tweet KOs Andrew Tate after arrest in Romania

IT seems that for all the misogynist talk, all Andrew Tate needed was a smart woman to put him straight.

The kickboxer-turned-TikToker (before he was banned) is probably wishing he’d never picked a fight with Greta Thunberg, after it incredibly culminated in his arrest in Romania on human trafficking charges.

It all started when, from his Twitter account, he tried to mock the young climate activist by talking about the number of cars he owns.

“Hello @GretaThunberg. I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.

“Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” he wrote.

In a putdown that has become one of the most liked posts on Twitter of all time (3.2 million and counting), Thunberg replied: “Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com”

Tate ruminated on that for more than eight hours, before responding with a cringey two-minute video that boils down to “I know you are but what am I?”

Unfortunately for him, in the video he could be seen sitting in front of two pizza boxes from “Jerry’s Pizza” – a Romanian chain.

According to the Romanian news outlet Gândul, police forces in the country had been waiting for nine months to be certain that Tate and his brother Tristan were in Romania before mobilising. Tate’s social media posts – and speculation suggests those pizza boxes in particular – gave authorities the information they needed.

Thunberg clearly heard the news, and issued one more tweet that will haunt Tate from police detention.

“This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes,” she wrote.
