A Greggs employee has revealed the one complaint she always hears from customers.
In a video shared to Tik Tok, worker Ellie explained some annoying things that members of the public do when visiting the popular bakery chain.
Posting to her account @elliethomas544, the staff member says customers constantly moan about the price of food - but then go on to order a huge amount.
According to Birmingham Live, she also receives several requests for steak bakes to be reheated, but wrote in the comment: "It would also be a health hazard to reheat meat!"
Writing over a picture of construction workers, Ellie went on to reveal the typical greeting and order she gets from builders: "Hiya luv, can we order ten sausage and bacon baguettes and ten cappuccinos."
Greggs operates bakery outlets nationwide. It has previously confirmed why it allows its food to go cold.
Greggs confirmed: "We sell savouries which are freshly baked in our shop ovens then put on the shelf to cool. We don't keep them in a heated environment, use heat retaining packaging, or market them as hot because of this.
"As bakers, we believe that baking our savouries fresh each day gives customers the best quality product.
"If the sausage rolls and bakes were kept hot after they had been baked, then they would be subject to VAT and the customer would have to be charged a higher price, in the same way that we charge VAT on our hot sandwiches which are kept in a heated cabinet and are subject [to tax]."
