High street bakery giant Greggs has sent shoppers wild after announcing the 'most exciting news ever'. The high street bakery chain is loved by millions of Brits - and its latest announcement has gone down a TREAT.
Greggs has announced it will be extending its opening hours so that selected stores are open later at night. As well as that, Greggs is also switching up its menu. The evening menu will be served in selected stores from 4pm onwards.
Posting on Facebook, Greggs said: "Yep, you heard us right, now loads of Greggs shops are open even later. And what’s more, there’s new pizzas and hot desserts, as well as your usual favourites."

The announcement has already gained a huge reaction, with many shoppers saying it's the 'best news ever'. Alison Lockyer praised: "You just get better and better." Steve Brown said: "Excellent news."
Scott Hogg wrote: "Omg canny wait to have greggs for breakfast lunch and dinner now.." Hannah McNair said: "Yaaasss late night addiction."
Others have been excited about the prospect of hot desserts. Can we really blame them?
Kiran Sira asked: "Hot desserts? When Will they be revealed?" Abi Starr said: "Hot desserts!? OK now we're talking." Kiran Sira pointed out that Greggs is already selling "Hot yum yum with dip."
A few shoppers used the news as an excuse to demand even longer opening hours. Because you can't always please everyone.
Michael Wenlock suggested: "Opening Earlier would also be great." Tony Behan replied: "Earlier too please!"
