Greggs confirms return date for festive bakes ahead of Christmas 2022

Pastry lovers itching to get their hands on a festive bake or vegan festive bakes from Greggs will be able to do so from next week.

The bakery chain has confirmed that the ever-popular seasonal treats will be back in stores ahead for the festive period.

Festive bakes will be back in UK branches from Thursday November 10 – with fans able to reserve their snacks in advance by ordering ahead via Click+Collect on the Greggs app, Chronicle Live reports.

For those wanting to return the pasty's return ahead of Christmas, Greggs has announced it will be hosting a series of exclusive festive bake brunches across the country this month.

Guests can enjoy exclusive sharing platters accompanied by prosecco and hand-crafted cocktails with a seasonal twist.

The festive bake is one of Greggs' most popular seasonal items and is the chain's take on a Christmas dinner in a pasty.

It contains chicken, sage, and onion stuffing and bacon, with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce baked inside crumb-topped pastry.

Last year, Greggs introduced a vegan version using Quorn plant-based chicken and bacon, following the success of its plant-based takes on other Greggs classics.

The launch day often attracts queues at stores across the country, with many branches selling out on the day they came out.
