Greggs is rolling out a new menu that has been branded "unreal" by diners, but Merseyside stores will miss out, for now at least.
The food and drink retailer announced this week it is trialling a host of new menu items including chicken wraps and loaded potato wedges in a number of its shops across the UK. Diners can also purchase three different crispy chicken ciabatta rolls, and a number of new deals.
The new menu was first unveiled in the Snack Reviews Facebook group, and the post has already amassed thousands of likes, shares and comments.

One customer called the menu an "Unreal lineup", while a second said: "Oh my days". A third said: "Those crispy chicken things look banging", while a fourth tagged a friend and added: "I know where our lunch dates will be from now on".
The new menu additions include BBQ, Hot and Spicy, and Mayo Crispy Chicken Ciabatta Rolls, as well as three chicken wraps - BBQ Chicken and Bacon, Sweet Chilli, and Hot and Spicy.
Customers can also get a new take on Greggs' potato wedges, loaded with either Chicken Katsu, BBQ Chicken or fiery Vegan Chilli. There are a number of new meal deals on offer, too.
A Greggs spokesperson told the ECHO: “We are always exploring new opportunities to expand our menu and hot to-go offering, providing even more choice and variety throughout the day and as we extend our later opening hours across shops. We are currently trialling this menu in a small number of shops as we look to test its popularity before we expand across more shops later in the year.”
The new menu is currently only being trialled at nine stores across the North East of England.
