Greg Taylor wants major Celtic transfer push as he vows champions will be 'bigger and better'

Greg Taylor insists Celtic’s current group want to go from good to great.

And he’s backing boss Ange Postecoglou to sign even-more quality in the summer to help push them towards attaining that desired status.

Despite winning the Premiership and Premier Sports Cup as well as booking a return to the group stages of the Champions League, Taylor is adamant Celtic are not the finished article.

Postecoglou is heading into the third transfer window of his reign having vowed the champions will return even bigger and better next term.

Taylor says the arrival of more new faces will give the troops another big shot in the arm and admitted: “I think we need that. We can’t rest on what we have achieved so far.

“We have had a successful season, winning the double, but we need to progress next year. We want to be bigger and better and I think by bringing bodies that pushes everyone on again.

“It has been a new way of playing, but it has been one I’ve enjoyed learning. I continue to try and learn from it because we know as a team we are not the finished article yet.

“We are a good team. But we want to become a great one.

“Hopefully, over the next few months, we can do that.”
