Greg Shepherd jokes his hair transplant has been huge success with new locks

Greg Shepherd produced a cheeky response to his recent hair transplant, showing off his stylish new 'do' with a brilliant video.

Billie Faiers' husband sparked speculation last month after eagle-eyed fans spotted a new buzz cut in her 32nd birthday post.

The 36-year-old usually has a head of brown hair but looked really different in the family photo.

He soon confirmed he had undergone the transplant after noticing he was going bald when he shaved his head.

He joked that he didn't want to look like his father just yet and now has been poking more fun at himself.

"So two months after my transplant thing have really come on well," he said with his new stand-in black barnet.

"I am really pleased with it - I have so much hair now I don't know what to do with it."

He captioned the funny clip: "Really pleased 8 weeks in - have a good Sunday everyone!"

Greg said his hair concerns first arrived from shaving his head for a charity event in 2019, where he raised a fantastic £42,000.

Greg says: "I looked at my father who is bald completely here and thought you do not want to look like your dad! So I've come to KSL to save me from that."

Some of Billie's previous TOWIE co-stars have also visited the KSL Clinic for treatment.

James Lock and Jack Fincham have both been and Greg can't wait to start seeing the results for real.

Showing off his new look on Instagram story late last month, Greg told fans the back of his head had pretty much healed and the scabs from the front were beginning to go.

He started off the clip by saying: "So the back of my head is completely healed, that healed within like a week of having it done, look how much hair has grown already at the back, you can't even see where I've had it done."

The businessman then went on to point at the areas where he'd had the procedure at the front of his head.

He added: "The scabs have basically gone now, the scabs last probably about two weeks then they start washing them out and that's what I'm sort of in the process of doing that at the moment.

"What happens now is the hair where you've had it transplanted it falls out in the next week or so, and then it comes back and grows through really strong but that's where I'm nearly at with it all."

Greg then joked that he hoped he'd have a 'ponytail by the summer'.
