Greg Penner doesn’t like one of the Broncos’ uniform combos

The Denver Broncos unveiled new uniforms ahead of the 2024 to mixed reviews.

“The fans’ perceptions I think varied,” Broncos owner/CEO Greg Penner said during an end-of-season press conference Wednesday. “The one thing I would say about the fans is there is very strong interest. I think some loved it, some didn’t like it — and I think that’s to be expected — but they definitely care.

“I think we wore 13 different combinations this year, including the throwbacks. Unanimously, I think everybody loved the throwbacks. I like the navy with the snow-capped helmets. I think those are great as well. The core uniform I thought looked great.”

There is one uniform combo that Penner doesn’t like.

NFL teams have to wait six years before making primary changes to uniforms, so the team’s new look won’t be changed anytime soon. Some of the possible combinations might be removed from the rotation, though, and it seems safe to assume Penner will have the final say on that.
