Greene King is offering fans watching the England Lionesses in the final of Euro 2022 a free drink. The Lionesses' remarkable success on the pitch has fuelled a surge of interest in the sport.
The hosts will face Germany in the final at Wembley on Sunday (July 31). But many will take the opportunity to watch the much-anticipated match while enjoying a pint.
Greene King is offering a free drink to all customers watching England vs Germany in the pub this weekend. To claim the free drink, customers must download the Greene King Season Ticket app and register their account no later than midnight on Sunday (July 31).

The free drink will be added to each registered customer’s basket within the app at 3pm on Sunday, allowing users to choose one of the drinks available for free. The offer is valid in more than 700 participating pubs across the UK.
The season ticket app is available to download for free via the Apple store here or the Google store here. Guests will be able to enjoy their free drink until midnight on Sunday.
Season Ticket holders will also benefit from 10 percent off all purchases made via the app. The pub company and brewer is also donating 10p from every drink sold via the Season Ticket app during the final to Women in Sport, a charity which provides impactful solutions to tackling gender inequality in sport.
Faye Nixon, marketing manager for Greene King Sport, said: “The Women’s Euros has been nothing short of fantastic. The team have broken so many records and we’re all thrilled they’ve made it to the final.
“Whatever happens on Sunday, it’s important we don’t just see this as a one-off moment for women’s sport. We need to do everything we can to continue the buzz that has followed this tournament and inspire the next generation of women in sport.”
Wendy Hawk, head of communications and engagement at Women in Sport, said: “The lionesses are making history and change is happening both at the elite and the grassroots. We are grateful that Greene King are supporting this success in their pubs and their communities right across the UK. Together we can inspire a generation and ensure the women’s Euros creates a legacy for the future.”
The Lionesses booked their place in the final with a 4-0 win over Sweden at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane stadium earlier this week. They have their eyes set on their first major silverware in history when they take on Germany in front of a sold out Wembley crowd (5pm kick-off).
They have never won a World Cup or European Championship and fell short when they lost to Germany in the final of the Euros back in 2009. Greene King pubs locally include Via Fossa in Canal Street, the Bell Inn in Angel Row and the Admiral Rodney in Wollaton.
