Green Brigade send survey results message to Celtic while celebrating women's team

Unofficial Celtic fan group the Green Brigade joined forces with fellow ultras group The Bhoys last night (Wednesday) for the Celtic FC Women's match against Chelsea, in a bid to illustrate the value of their combined 'The Celtic End' initiative.

By taking up the Jock Stein stand, the groups in essence joined two standing sections together as one, in order to amplify their songs and flag displays.

Otherwise positioned in opposite corners of Celtic Park, The Celtic End initiative calls for the club to rework the current stadium seating layout in order to facilitate a larger behind-the-goal standing section for all matches.

Doing so would require a sizable portion of existing season ticket holders in the Jock Stein stand to relocate, however the Green Brigade, via its North Curve collective account, asked supporters to vote favourably for the initiative in the club's official Celtic FC Fans' Survey earlier this year.

Curated with the help of the University of Strathclyde’s Business School, the survey was concluded at the end of July – however the results of such are yet to be published, with no date or time frame put forward as to when they might surface.

As posted on X (formerly Twitter), the North Curve said: "The Celtic End returned to Celtic Park to back the Ghirls in a spirited European performance.

"Once again, the demand for and impact of a goal-end standing section was evidenced.

"Fans patiently await the results of the recent survey and engagement with the club on the issue."
