The rest of Saturday afternoon will stay warm with temperatures peaking at 21C and constant sunny conditions throughout. By the evening, temperatures will drop slightly to 16C before dipping even further to around 10C which will persist until Sunday morning.

For Saturday, the Met Office said: "Any patchy low cloud in the east quickly clearing to leave a bright day with plenty of lengthy sunshine. Feeling pleasant with winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 20 °C."

Early predictions from the Met office state that Sunday will see similarly high temperatures as the rest of the weekend, with peaks of 20C across midday. The Met Office added: "Largely settled with plenty of sunny spells. Some cloud likely to bubble up, with showers possible over the highest ground on Tuesday.
